The pursuit of music is limitless and infinitely rewarding — there is always something left to explore, some technique to acquire, something to feel.

I've spent three decades and counting in this pursuit as an auto-didact (with some academic work in musicology thrown in), discovering it all for myself. In this way, I've developed a musical practice centred around deep listening and aural skills, transcription, improvisation... and about 90000 hours with a metronome. I've taught myself, I can teach you too.

If you're interested in sharpening your guitar technique, enhancing your composition / analysis skills, improving your ear and transcription, learning how to improvise, or any other aspect of your musical practice — I'd love to help.
