Mastering is the salt on the steak, or so to speak. It's the part that allows you to ensure all the hard work you've done to mix a good song or album can be reproduced everywhere, in any environment, equally. A good master also ensures that in particularly difficult environments (like on small headphones, car stereos, or on vinyl) everything sounds as expected.
Once again, most of the work I've done to date has been my own music, but I'm very keen to invest my skills and scrutiny of minutiae in other projects. It's incredibly satisfying work to do, and I'd love to do it for you.

Marie is a complete artistic genius and everything she touches is brilliant. This cannot be understated. I am immensely proud to have had a minor role in translating her vision from concept to reality, and the results are truly beyond description. You owe it to yourself to listen.
Best description I have for you is The Chasm, At The Gates circa Red In The Sky... and Confessor fighting a Touhou boss battle with Hatsune Miku.

Felgrave - Otherlike Darknesses (2025)
Unrelenting, maximalist, interplanetary metal of death. A vehicle somehow escaping the intense gravity of Mason’s internal world for us to climb into. I’m not really a fan of “for fans of”, but I would put this firmly in the same category of ambition that Abyssal’s Antikatastaseis, Ingurgitating Oblivion’s Visions Wallow… and Edge of Sanity’s Crimson (I and II) occupy — the very space I try to visit in my own art (with mixed results). This is the artist creating desperately and with every possible tool he has at his disposal. Expressive and dramatic, sombre and subdued, crushingly heavy and delicate… all these and more. My favourite moment in heavy music of the last 5 years (I think) is the transition between the “bridge” of the last song and the final movement of the album (at around 12:45). When I got there on my first listen I fucking yelped with joy. That’s how you do it. An honour to work on this.
